MICROWIND

Part 1
The tutorial deals with the basics of the tool. If you think you know them, I still recommend you to glance to get well versed.
Here is the link.

Part 2
covers the application of few of the tools learnt in Part 1. It also covers the design of an inverter

Part 3:
What is Transmission Gate? Why it is used? How to import an existing layout? How to align the devices? All this with added Layout of Transmission gate.

Part 4:
In this part, we discuss the importance and application of buffer. Later, a quick, easy and brief design of CMOS buffer is shown. The simulation waveforms can also be found.

Part 5:
We are happy to be back with the 5th tutorial in this series. Many of you must be needing a 3 input nand gate vlsi layout for designing the jk flip flop. Here is the detailed description of the same.

Schmitt trigger is one of the most important component of most of the circuits. Under this tutorial, we start with the basics of Schmitt trigger circuit, then we explain the brief steps of drawing the layout of the Schmitt Trigger Circuit. Finally we explain how to observe the output. Find it here

Most of you must have found difficulty in drawing the registers and counters. Most of the time, even if the D flip flop is working properly, you dont get proper output. The reason being delay and mismatch due to different nWells. Here, in this part of the tutorial, we have listed a detailed step by step guide to draw the D flip flop layout, which in turn can be used for designing registers and counters.
The most important feature is intermediate source files. You will not get stuck up at any step.
